On the 18th anniversary of the Rose Revolution, supporters of Mikheil Saakashvili and civil activists will arrange a human chain today.

As TV host and event organizer Nanuka Zhorzholiani told Interpressnews, the rally will take the form of a human chain that will start from Freedom Square and end at Rose Square.

According to Zhorzholiani, with this rally, they will once again remind the government that they remember this day and at the same time, they will thank Mikheil Saakashvili for this day.

"At 15:00, a rally will start at Freedom Square. This rally has two reasons - on the one hand, the government is trying to diminish this day, to fade it, to make it meaningless. We are telling the authorities that there are people in this country who remember very well both its importance and the value of this day. On the other hand, Mikheil Saakashvili should know that we are grateful for specific things, because usually criticism is always heard from afar. Therefore, we will let him hear thank you as well.

It will be a human chain, there will be no marches, it will be a symbolic route from Freedom Square to Rose Square", - Zhorzholiani said.

It is unknown whether politicians will join the rally. However, the organizers invite everyone to join the human chain.
