Ekaterine Tikaradze is resigning as the Minister of Health. Ekaterine Tikaradze made the respective statement at the briefing.
According to Tikaradze, she will continue her activities in the political board of the Georgian Dream.
Tikaradze spoke about the activities carried out during her ministry and thanked the medical community for their cooperation.
“Although the epidemiological situation was very difficult and of course the main challenge and target was the fight against the pandemic, the Ministry has implemented a number of important projects that impact the well-being of our citizens and this is a great achievement for us. I appreciate very much that the employees of our ministry worked tirelessly for this”, she said.
According to her, she will work from the party to strengthen Georgian healthcare.
“Finally, I would like to add that after three years of quite intensive work, after consultations with the Prime Minister, now with the party chairman, we considered it the right decision to continue my work in the Georgian Dream party, in the political board, and from here to strengthen Georgian healthcare. We believe that the projects that have been launched and implemented have already closed a certain stage of development, and we are moving to another stage, and at this stage I will join Georgia from the party," said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
