The Georgian National Olympic Committee organized an award ceremony for the best athletes of the year. Two winners were selected in the nomination "Best Athlete of 2021" - weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze and judoka Lasha Bekauri claimed awards.

The rest of the nominations were distributed as follows:

"Discovery of 2021 - Olympic Hope (Women)" - Mariam Kerdikashvili, Canoe.

"Best Athlete in Winter Sports" - skater Moris Kvitelashvili.

"Discovery of 2021 - Olympic Hope (Men) - wrestler Leri Abuladze.

"Best Female Athlete of 2021" - judoka Eter Liparteliani.

"Best Coach, Women's Sports" - Lali Dolidze, artistic gymnastics.

"Best Young Athlete in Sports" - water polo player Giorgi Magrakvelidze.

"For Professional Coverage of the Tokyo Summer Olympics" - journalist Lasha Goduadze.

"Best Coach of 2021" - the head coach of the judo team, Lasha Gujejiani.
