Representatives of the occupation forces illegally detained two Georgian citizens near the occupied village of Lopani in Khashuri Municipality. The information about this is spread by the State Security Service.

According to them, since the moment of illegal detention, there has been constant communication through the "hot line", the EUMM and the co-chairs of the Geneva talks have been informed.

The State Security Service, together with its international partners, is actively involved in the ongoing activities for the immediate release of Georgian citizens.

According to SUS, illegal detentions significantly complicate the occupation line and the security environment in the occupied territories and endanger the daily lives of locals.

According to them, the Russian Federation is fully responsible for the illegal detentions.
