According to the public relations service of the Georgian Patriarchate, Bishop Dimitri of Khornabuji and Hereti died of coronavirus.

As the Patriarchate says in a statement, "Bishop Dimitri's health was aggravated by a coronavirus infection".

The bishop had been treated at the hospital for the past few days.
