Personal Data Protection Service to be headed by Lela Janashvili; Special Investigation Service - by Karlo Katsitadze

The Personal Data Protection Service will be headed by Lela Janashvili, and the Special Investigation Service - by Karlo Katsitadze.

At the plenary session, they were elected by a majority of votes, without consideration.

The Personal Data Protection and Special Investigation Services will be set up as a result of the abolition of the State Inspector's Service, which will no longer exist from 1 March.

Lela Janashvili and Karlo Katsitadze have been elected new heads of services for a term of 6 years.
