Public Defender of Georgia Nino Lomjaria has responded to the Prime Minister's statements and appealed to him not to embarrass Georgia.

As Lomjaria said, sanctions work and so does the vaccine.

"Irakli, we will explain to you in a simple language, no one asks you to become Zelensky, just don’t say anything! Do not ashamed us! Sanctions work and so does the vaccine!" Lomjaria wrote.

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili noted at the governmental session earlier today that "there is no one to stop the war in Ukraine today and sanctions are not an effective means."
