Temperature expected to drop sharply in Georgia next week

The air temperature will be below zero degrees in Georgia next week, Dodo Gvazava, the head of the short-term forecast division of the Monitoring and Forecasting Center of the National Environment Agency, told InterPressNews.

The intensity of precipitation will weaken next week.

"On March 13-14, snow intensity is expected in some areas of western and eastern Georgia. Frost will rise in mountainous and highland areas. The frost will also rise in the valley of Eastern Georgia. Snow is expected in some regions until March 16," Dodo Gvazava said.
