Russia has bombed the northern suburb of Kyiv. The city administration says the Antonov aircraft "plant", not Antonov Airport, has come under fire, the BBC reports.
According to preliminary data, two people died and 7 were taken to hospital with injuries.
The Antonov aircraft manufacturing facility is located about 10km from Kyiv city centre.
Unverified videos shared on social media show a thick plume of dark smoke above the factory.
The city administration says emergency services are at the scene of the explosion.
