Dmytro Kuleba: Russians have kidnapped the Mayor of Skadovsk

According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Russians kidnapped Oleksandr Yakovlyev, the Mayor of the port city of Skadovsk in the Khersin region, and his deputy, Yurii Palyukh.

"Russian invaders continue to abduct democratically elected local leaders in Ukraine. Mayor of Skadovsk Oleksandr Yakovlyev and his deputy Yurii Palyukh were abducted today. States and international organizations must demand Russia to immediately release all abducted Ukrainian officials!" he tweeted.

This is not the first time that the Russian military has kidnapped Ukrainian officials. A few days ago, Russians kidnapped the Mayor of the city of Dniprorudne and the Mayor of Melitopol.
