Georgia reports 324 new cases of coronavirus and no death in the last 24 hours

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within intensive testing, 22,625 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,420 antigen tests and 2,205 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 324 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,650,708.

As for the positive rate, as of April 6, the daily positive rate is 1.43%, for the last 14 days - 2.32% and for 7 days - 1.9%.

In the last 24 hours, 721 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 1,629,987.

There have been 0 new deaths from coronavirus. A total of 16,765 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Out of 324 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 165 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara - 11, Imereti - 37, Kvemo Kartli - 13, Shida Kartli - 26, Guria - 23, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 19, Kakheti - 17, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 5.

Currently, there are 3,930 active cases of infection.
