Nika Gvaramia: I am an innocent man, how can I predict what the guilty regime will do

Nika Gvaramia, General Director of the Mtavari TV, arrived at the Tbilisi City Court. He was greeted on the spot by representatives of the political sector, as well as the media and non-governmental organizations, who addressed him with words of support.

Gvaramia made short comments to reporters before entering the trial.

"I am an innocent man, how can I predict what the guilty regime will do," Nika Gvaramia said.

For information, the verdict will be announced today in the case of the founder of the Mtavari TV, Nika Gvaramia and two other accused persons.

Nika Gvaramia is accused of embezzling a large amount of property rights belonging to Rustavi 2, commercial bribery and forging official documents, as well as legalizing illegal income by a group with a preliminary agreement. Nika Gvaramia is also accused of abuse of office.
