Two persons were burnt to death as a result of a car accident in the Chakvi-Batumi connecting tunnel. According to locals, the truck collided with a car, causing a fire.

As InterPressNews was told by the ambulance center, the brigade arrived at the scene and found two deceased persons. Another person was slightly injured in the incident.

According to locals, the car accident happened at dawn. Relevant services were mobilized on the spot. An investigation is underway.
