For Georgia not to attend interpellation of 4 ministers in Parliament today

We will not take part in this illusion, For Georgia MP Beka Liluashvili stated about the summoning of 4 ministers to the Parliament within the framework of the interpellation procedure.

As he pointed out, the Government should not apply procedural restrictions when discussing important issues and summoning 4 ministers simultaneously only serves to create the illusion that the Government is accountable to the Parliament.

"There has never been a case in the history of the Parliament when 4 ministers participated in the interpellation procedure in one and the same day. Moreover, there were cases when due to the urgency of the issue the interpellation lasted for 2 days. We believe that the Government should not apply procedural restrictions relating to issues facing our country today, such as economy and European integration. We believe that such a format only serves to create the illusion that the Government is accountable to the Parliament. So, we, the For Georgia party, will simply not take part in this illusion," Liluashvili said.
