According to Strategy Builder, the debates on the issue of Georgia in the European Parliament have clearly shown that despite the critical assessments of the government, they support the granting of status to Georgia.

According to them, the Georgian Dream and the actions of its government remain the main obstacle on the path to European integration, which "Georgia's friendly MEPs have pointed out critically and fairly."

"We hope that the Georgia­n Dream will not oppose this fair criticism of the European Parliament and its Western partners with a new campaign of slander and swearing, will take into account their fair criticism and we will do our best not to miss this historic chance.

The Strategy­ Builder team has already achieved positive results in the process of granting Georgia candidate status (ALDE support resolution) and we are ready to take concrete steps to address the obstacles that our European partners are pointing to, including the rule of law and justice, problems with democracy and media freedom, the issue of Nika Gvaramia's release and all the issues that were included in the April 19 agreement and the non-fulfillment of which is a serious obstacle to Georgia's European integration.

We appeal to the Georgia­n Dream, the time for all kinds of discussion and calls is over. If you really want Georgia's integration into Europe and you want to have a political future, you need to know that now is the time for action and not for endless talk, blaming others and cursing," Strategy­ Builder said in a statement.
