As InterPressNews was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation was launched under two articles: Article 179 (robbery) and Article 236 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to illegal purchase of firearms.

The mentioned branch of the Bank of Georgia has already resumed its work.

The incident happened today, a few hours ago. The robber tried to intimidate the bank employees with a gun and demanded to open the cash register.
