Members of Georgian Dream in Telavi City Assembly confronted Petre Tsiskarishvili, Giorgi Botkoveli and Temur Janashia

In Telavi municipality, a verbal confrontation took place between the representatives of the movement "Home to Europe" and the members of Georgian Dream in the City Assembly.

Temur Janashia, Giorgi Botkoveli and Petre Tsiskarishvili, members of the National Movement, who arrived in Telavi municipality, were distributing information flyers about the European Union, when members of the City Assembly appeared on the spot and addressed the party members with some questions.

"We protest this chaos and everything they do. Why are they deceiving and fooling people? We belong to the same country, and let's say what this actually is, who did what and who was behind whom, it is obvious", said the member of the City Assembly, Zurab Musaev.

On the other hand, according to Petre Tsiskarishvili, the ruling team is creating polarization in the country, "while the opposition is doing its job".

"We inform the population what EU membership means and the good things associated with Europe, as well as what Georgian Dream means. During the National Movement rule the country was brought out of the swamp. Only the government and the authorities create polarization, the opposition does not create polarization, it is doing its job," Petre Tsiskarishvili said.
