The President's evaluations are embarrassing - we have been winning cases after cases against Russia in international courts, this is how Rati Ionatamishvili, a member of the parliamentary majority, responded to the statement of President Salome Zurabishvili that Georgian Dream is careful with Russia.

According to Ionatamishvili, the President's assessments are groundless.

"It is very embarrassing when the President makes such evaluations of the team that has won cases against Russia in the Strasbourg court, which is a very important step against the occupation, and we have also succeeded in the Hague court, that is, we have been winning cases after cases against Russia in international courts," Ionatamishvili said.

He also responded to Salome Zurabishvili's statement regarding the appointment of ambassadors and noted that "it is embarrassing when the President of Georgia cannot understand the limits of her powers in the parliamentary republic."

"It turned out that she does not understand these issues and this may also be one of the reasons for her unclear actions in this regard. It is also unacceptable to talk about the reputation of our ambassador in this regard, who is a very professional, strong and competent person and a patriot of this country," Ionatamishvili said.
