Shalva Papuashvili: The National Movement and its two assistant parties are not involved in the parliamentary activities - they prove their anti-Europeanness with every step

The National Movement and its two assistant parties are not involved in the parliamentary activities - they prove their anti-Europeanness with every step, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili told reporters while talking about the process of implementation of the EU recommendations.

According to him, the mentioned parties are trying to damage the process in every possible way and "this worsens the climate".

"There are 3 parties in the opposition that are not involved in the parliamentary activities. 5 out of 8 parliamentary groups participate in the parliamentary work, while 3 – the National Movement and its 2 assistant parties are not involved in the parliamentary activities. They are trying to damage this process in every possible way. It's sad, they prove anti-Europeanism with every step - with their behavior, policies, decisions – and the society sees it. It's a pity, because it worsens the climate", said Shalva Papuashvili.
