Working group meeting organized by the PMMG held within the frame of the project “equality for better integration”

On August 25-27 the working group meeting was held as organized by the PMMG within the frame of the project “equality for better integration”. The event was dedicated to the issue of education within the framework of the State Policy of Civic Equality and Integration.

Arnold Stepanian, Chairman of PMMG took part in the proceedings of the working group meeting. The agenda of the event stipulated the discussion to assess the implementation of 2021-2022 Action Plan of the State Strategy for Civic Equality and Integration for the purpose of observing the results achieved in the area of education for the last two years as well as deliberate over the design of the Action Plan for the next two years’ period. It is expected that the results of the meeting will be reflected in the eventual policy options corresponding to the actual needs, constraints and challenges of the vulnerable groups.

The meeting was attended by Tea Akhvlediani, State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and his deputies. Moreover, some high officials representing the respective departments of the underlined Ministries have also contributed to the proceedings of the meeting working on the relevant issues.

The event was funded through Austrian Development Cooperation. The working group meeting was planned and realized in closer cooperation with the State Ministry of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.
