Therefore, it raises suspicions that manipulation is taking place, one of the leaders of Georgian Dream, MP Irakli Kadagishvili, told PalitraNews TV regarding NDI polls.

"There is a strategic cooperation between Georgia and America. This is the main line of action of the government. It is unnecessary to doubt anything here. After the start of the war, there were many issues that raised questions in the society. The response of these four was that why are we not reacting to this? Why don't we make clear statements? The position of the government was that one cannot talk about all this out loud. They said that this uncertainty among the people is harmful for this (EU) relationship. That's why the separation happened. I still think that if there is a question, it is better to ask correctly and politely, in a business way, and get the answer in a business way. After the start of the war, there were many calls, direct and indirect, covert, pushing for a tougher and more offensive position for Georgia.

When we are dealing with the occupier, we don't know how this harsh and offensive position would turn out for us. Today, we see that the Soviet Union has collapsed, but the collapse of a great empire is not completed in one day, it lasts ten years, we may be passing the end of the process of collapse, and in this process of collapse, we see that the tail of the last wave may be as bitter as what is happening in Ukraine. We don't want such a thing to happen in Georgia," Kadagishvili says.
