Prosecutor: When we entered Saakashvili's ward, he said he had nothing to talk about with us

The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili, the third President of Georgia, in the case of illegal crossing of the border, has been postponed at the Vivamedi clinic.

As the prosecutor of the mentioned case Levan Vepkhvadze explained, after entering Saakashvili's ward, the third President said that he has nothing to talk about with them.

According to him, regardless of Saakashvili's position, at the next session he will be given another opportunity to testify in court.

"After coming to the Vivamedi clinic, the lawyer, after consulting with Saakashvili, said that he had a health problem and could not testify. When we entered the ward, to the court's question whether he was testifying or not, Saakashvili explained "I have nothing to talk about with you" neither before consulting the doctor nor after his consultation. In this case, we think it has been established that Saakashvili does not want to testify. At this stage, the court once again gave him the right to testify, and we will find out his position," Levan Vepkhvadze said.
