Giorgi Vashadze says he is ready to leave Parliament

Strategy Builder leader Giorgi Vashadze is ready to leave the Parliament.

As Vashadze said on PalitraNews TV, the mentioned scenario is being considered in the team, because "being with pro-Russians in one environment is unbearable".

At the same time, Vashadze explained what specific issues he was working on in the Parliament and said that it was important to know when to leave the Parliament. According to him, it is necessary to prepare the western partners.

"We are internally and in every possible way ready to leave the Parliament. We are considering this scenario. It is unbearable for me to be in one space together with pro-Russians. I will only be there where I see any issues related to the 12 points. Constitutional amendments needed my vote - I entered and voted, but I am not going to work with Kobakhidze and other pro-Russians on a daily basis. We, Strategy Builder, are ready to leave the Parliament. It is important to know when this should happen and it is necessary to prepare our Western partners. We must explain to them in advance what is happening. The main thing is to ensure that we do not do it too early, although this will happen," said Giorgi Vashadze.

He also spoke about the unification of pro-European political forces and evaluated the nearest plans of the opposition.

As Vashadze said, he favors a strategy where all opposition pro-European associations are formed into one group.

"There are two strategies: one is to group all pro-European political and non-political forces together and create a united front to defeat the pro-Russians, i.e., Georgian Dream. Option two - the National Movement forms some kind of circle around it, while other pro-European political forces unite together with experts and active people of the society and create the second or maybe the first powerful force. These are the two strategies that are being considered. We also had a conversation with Lelo, National Movement, others and independent persons. Personally, I favor the first strategy, as the more we are together, the stronger we are," said Vashadze.
