Nona Mamulashvili's parliamentary mandate terminated

Former UNM member Nona Mamulashvili's parliamentary mandate was terminated. The decision was taken by the Parliament with 89 votes to 4.

Mamulashvili left the Parliament and the party by her own decision.

As Mamulashvili explained, the Parliament of the tenth convocation is the most disgraceful Parliament in the history of independence. As for the National Movement, according to Mamulashvili, the party has been devoid of politics for a long time, and the systemic problems do not provide an opportunity for renewal and recovery.

It should be noted that after the termination of the deputy mandate for Nona Mamulashvili, her replacee will not be able to enter the Parliament, because the electoral list of the parliamentary opposition, including the United National Movement party, has been canceled. As a result, the National Movement faction lost its fourth mandate, while the parliamentary opposition is left without eight mandates overall.

Nika Melia, Zaal Udumashvili, Levan Varshalomidze, Mamuka Khazaradze, Badri Japaridze, Elene Khoshtaria and Shalva Natelashvili have no replacees in the Parliament. Their mandates have been revoked. After the termination of powers for Nona Mamulashvili, her mandate will be also canceled.
