Petre Tsiskarishvili: We all made a gentleman's agreement

We all made a gentleman's agreement. Since I support one of the candidates, I transferred my authority to our financial department, said the Secretary General of the United National Movement, Petre Tsiskarishvili.

According to Tsiskarishvili, today's decisions are "absolutely" acceptable and "the meeting was very constructive".

He also spoke about the format of holding internal elections.

“We all made a gentleman's agreement. Since I am supporting one of the candidates, I transferred my authority to our financial department, accounting department, so that the funds are equally and objectively distributed. I am not talking about large funds or resources.

As for the rest of the issues, the manner of holding the election and so on, we welcome it. It would have been better if it had been held a little earlier, but Koba Nakopia and others proposed the end of January and we agreed to it. Regarding the rule itself, it was important for us to make it as broad as possible, which will be ensured by the Facebook platform”, he said.

According to him, the chairman of the party and other members should do everything to transfer Mikheil Saakashvili abroad for treatment, and everyone agrees on this.

"It was said that we should be active as much as possible in this regard. This is everyone’s pain and a common task”, he said.
