We should step up work on security and defence and continue engagement for a secure, stable and prosperous South Caucasus, EU High Representative Josep Borrell writes on Twitter.

According to him, Russia‘s war of aggression against Ukraine has brought war back to Europe.

"We heard the call for more EU presence and integration & the Eastern Partnership to be adjusted to challenges and differentiated needs of partners.

At our annual Eastern Partnership ministerial, I suggest to continue our EaP policy in parallel to the enlargement process, as vehicle for regional cooperation. We should step up work on security & defence and continue engagement for a secure, stable & prosperous South Caucasus," Borrell wrotes.
