Russian occupation forces illegally detain two citizens of Georgia in the occupied territory near Koshki village of Gori municipality

According to the State Security Service, representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally detained two citizens of Georgia in the occupied territory near the village of Koshki of the Gori municipality.

According to the Service, all existing mechanisms have been activated to release illegally detained persons in the shortest possible time.

"Representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally arrested two citizens of Georgia in the occupied territory near Koshki village of Gori municipality.

Upon receiving information about the above, the State Security Service activated the hotline operated by the EU Monitoring Mission. In addition, international partners and co-chairs of Geneva international discussions have been immediately informed about the incident.

All the available mechanisms have been activated to release the illegally detained persons in the shortest possible time.

The responsibility for the destructive actions committed on the occupied territories of Georgia, as well as along the occupation line, rests with the occupying power," reads the information released by the State Security Service.
