Badri Japaridze: Problems will exist until Georgian Dream is in power, the task should be to change this government and to bring a democratic, coalition government to power

We should try so that Georgia does not lose the chance now, but the reforms that are necessary for the rapid integration into the European Union will be implemented only after Georgian Dream is replaced, Lelo Secretary General Badri Japaridze said on PalitraNews TV.

Japaridze also responded to the ruling team's critical assessments of American General Ben Hodges' statement, noting that their assessments show a line that is "anti-democratic and anti-Western".

“The rhetoric we hear from the speakers of Georgian Dream is that it turns out that our Western friends are trying to grad us into the war. This is perverted rhetoric, an attempt to confuse people's minds, and the line drawn by Georgian Dream is visible to everyone. These assessments and conclusions come from an illogical, propaganda narrative aimed against national interests," said Badri Japaridze.

According to him, instead of attacking the authorities of Ukraine, all steps should be taken so that Georgia quickly receives the EU candidate status.

In addition, according to him, the problems accumulated by the ruling party will exist until the coalition government does not come to power.

"There are problems that Georgian Dream has accumulated, for the most part consciously, sometimes with its incompetence. These problems will exist until Georgian Dream is in power. The task should be to change this government in the next elections and to bring a democratic, coalition government to power, which will be able to solve these problems", said Badri Japaridze.
