Russian occupation forces illegally detain another citizen of Georgia

Representatives of the Russian occupation regime illegally detained another citizen of Georgia, - Irakli Antadze, Deputy Director of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Security Service, told the media. According to Antadze, at the moment, the details regarding the arrest are being clarified.

"Yesterday, late at night, the hotline was activated and we were informed that another of our fellow citizens was illegally detained by the occupation forces. We will find out the details at today's meeting and we will talk after the meeting. We only have his first and last names," Antadze said.

The 110th meeting in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism is taking place in the village of Ergneti, located near the occupation line.

At the meeting, representatives of the central Government of Georgia will express protest against the recent incidents near the occupation line, the destructive actions carried out by the occupation forces and the illegal detention of Georgian citizens.

Other issues to be discussed will concern the humanitarian directions that are important for the population living on both sides of the occupation line.

According to the available information, at the moment, 7 citizens of Georgia are in illegal detention in Tskhinvali.
