Levan Khabeishvili elected the chairman of National Movement

Levan Khabeishvili has become the chairman of the National Movement. This was announced by the chairman of the political council, Koba Nakopia, at a briefing held at the party's office.

According to him, Khabeishvili won 52.58% of the votes.

As for other candidates - Nika Melia got 40% of the votes, Giorgi Mumladze - 3.68%, and Nona Mamulashvili - 3.73%.

According to Koba Nakopia, 41,264 people took part in the election of the chairman of the National ­Movement.

"The total number of registered voters was 49,638, the number of voters who participated in the elections was 41,264.

The number of votes received by electoral subjects was distributed as follows:

Nona Mamulashvili - 1537 votes, which is 3.73%.

Nika Melia - 16,476 votes, which is 40%.

Giorgi Mumladze - 1516 votes, which is 3.68%.

Levan Khabeishvili - 21,656 votes, which is 52.58%.

Levan Khabeishvili has been elected as the chairman of the political union of citizens United Natio­nal Movement. Levan Khabeishvili won with 52,58% in the first round," said Koba Nakopia.

According to him, there will be no second round of elections.

As a reminder, four candidates participated in the elections for the chairmanship of United Natio­nal Movement: Nika Melia, Levan Khabeishvili, Giorgi Mumladze and Nona Mamulashvili.
