Russia advises its citizens to refrain from traveling to Georgia

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia advises Russian citizens to refrain from traveling to Georgia.

In addition, those who are in Georgia are encouraged to avoid crowded places in the historical centers of Tbilisi and Batumi.

"The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia advises Russian citizens to refrain from traveling to Georgia. If you are already in the country, we recommend to avoid crowded places, specifically the historical centers of Batumi and Tbilisi," reads the agency's statement.
