According to the director of the Central Criminal Police Department, Teimuraz Kupatadze, more than 10 drug dealers were arrested in Ponichala as a result of a special operation.

According to Kupatadze, there are women among those arrested.

"Uncompromising fight against drug traffickers continues. Today, more than 10 drug dealers have been arrested across the country, including in Ponichala. The operation continues. A large amount of narcotic drugs were seized in various forms. I am sure that by the end of the day, the number of detainees will at least double, both women and foreign citizens are detained," said Kupatadze.
