According to him, his advice to Kezerashvili would be to leave the country's politics altogether, as many other leaders of the National Movement should do.
"What else would Georgian Dream want?! If you are really fighting Georgian Dream, you should not allow yourself to be the reason for discrediting the opposition. In general, the existing opposition structure, which is based on Kezerashvili's money and Vano's reputation within the National Movement, in my opinion, harms the process of defeating Georgian Dream. If anything helps the Government last, it is making the image of the enemy from the National Movement. But when Saakashvili is in prison, this image does not look sufficient. Therefore, they feel it necessary to strengthen it with figures such as Merabishvili-Kezerashvili. Georgian Dream should not be helped in this process.
We have neither communicated with Davit Kezerashvili nor have the desire to cooperate, because freedom is more important to us. If someone gives you money, they give you money in exchange for freedom, and we were not ready to give our freedom because of Kezerashvili's money," Iago Khvichia told journalists.
