Samgori is set to welcome its first modern and fully-organized shopping mall. Samgori Mall stands out with its prime location directly accessible from the Samgori metro station, Railway station and City regional bus station. Planned with a diverse functional mix, the mall will offer a wide range of daily necessities stores, including hypermarkets, pharmacies, clothing and electronics stores, as well as a food cluster and recreational areas, ensuring maximum comfort for visitors.
Primarily situated on a single floor, The Samgori Mall will feature a collection of small and medium-sized commercial spaces with direct access to Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue. Adjacent to the mall, a small square and recreational area will be arranged, complete with parking infrastructure for the convenience of visitors. The mall will prioritize pedestrian-friendly walkways, accommodating the growing number of foot traffic in the area. As a stop on municipal or city transportation routes, the Samgori Mall will be a convenient destination for commuters looking to dine or shop, made even more accessible by its integration with metro exits, as outlined in the development concept.
The location of the Samgori Mall represents an intermodal hub for the city, combining three different types of stations in one area. With direct access to metro, municipal, and intercity stations, the mall will cater not only to metro commuters, but also to visitors and passengers of the surrounding stations. The shopping center is perfectly adapted to meet the daily needs of the 400,000 people residing within a 10-minute drive coverage area. In addition, it will efficiently accommodate the demands of over 30,000 daily commuters who use the metro and bus stations.
It is noteworthy that Samgori Mall is being developed by Colliers Georgia and Blocks, with Colliers taking charge of the project's marketing, leasing, and management. The opening of Samgori Mall is set to create a new shopping destination that will have a positive impact on the surrounding areas. The project is expected to stimulate the revitalization of the area and increase the value of other nearby real estate assets.
The shopping mall project has received approval and construction activities are underway with a scheduled completion date of Summer 2024. The mall is set to begin operations in the fall, a few months before the shopping season, and negotiations with large tenants are currently taking place due to high demand.
