Tina Bokuchava states that she does not see the possibility of continuing cooperation with fellow faction members, who, according to available information, voted for the candidates for non-judge members of the Council of Justice

Nika Machutadze, Nato Chkheidze, Bachuki Kardava, Rostom Chkheidze may be expelled from the United National Movement - United Opposition - Strength Is in Unity faction. As Tina Bokuchava says, they will make a decision on this issue.

When asked whether they can be expelled from the faction, Bokuchava says that "they will make a decision".

"We will make a decision on this. What decisions will be made formally, it will be decided later," says Bokuchava.

According to her, she does not see the possibility of continuing cooperation with them.

"I personally do not see the possibility that cooperation will continue, because the issue on which these people expressed their consent and voted for members of the clan is a fundamental issue, it strengthens the influence of the clan in the council, therefore in the judicial system. This is a fundamental issue. Not for a faction, a party or a single MP, but for the European future of the country, so I can tell you directly that I do not see how cooperation can continue.

The media know who they are. I first heard about it from the media, then I had the opportunity to see the footage. We are talking about Nika Machutadze, Nato Chkheidze, Bachuki Kardava, Rostom Chkheidze and as far as I know, one more person who is not a member of our faction," said Bokuchava.

As a result of the voting held at the plenary session of the Parliament, only three of the five non-judge member vacancies in the Supreme Council of Justice were filled. The majority of Georgian Dream has a total of 84 votes in the Parliament.

The positions of 5 non-judge members in the Supreme Council of Justice have been vacant for almost two years. The term of office of the non-judge members of the Supreme Council of Justice elected by the Parliament expired in June 2021. The positions of 5 non-judge members in the Council are vacant after the term of office of the non-judge members of the Council: Nazi Janezashvili, Irma Gelashvili, Levan Gzirishvili, Zaza Kharebava and Shota Kadagidze has expired. Accordingly, from June 2021, instead of 15 members, there are only 10 members in the Supreme Council of Justice.
