I welcome the decision of the President of Russia to cancel visa regime for citizens of Georgia and restore direct flights to our country, - reads the statement of Tamaz Gaiashvili, Chairman of the board of directors of Georgian Airways, which was published by the of Russian interests section at the Swiss Embassy in Georgia on the social network Facebook.

According to him, the above will improve the business climate between Georgia and "its largest trade partner".

"These long-awaited steps respond to the aspirations of millions of people in Russia and Georgia, who are connected by centuries-old ties of history, economy and culture.
