Members of Lelo unfurl flags of Georgia and European Union near Rustaveli monument

Members of the Lelo party and participants in the rally unfurled the flags of Georgia and the European Union at the monument of Rustaveli.

Lelo leader Mamuka Khazaradze asked MP Ana Natsvlishvili during his speech to fly the flags of Georgia and the European Union from the building of the Parliament of Georgia.

Lelo member Irakli Kupradze said that they expressed the voice of the majority of Georgia with this march.

"Today is Merab Kostava's day. Just behind Rustaveli is Merab Kostava's house. If he were alive, he would be standing here with the flag of the European Union", said Irakli Kupradze.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
