Rally near the President's residence - participants demand the pardon of Nika Gvaramia

An rally organized by "Nika Gvaramia's Freedom Movement", the founder of "Main Channel" is taking place near the residence of the President of Georgia.

Part of civil activists and citizens gathered in the yard of Mtavari TV and marched to the President's residence.

Representatives of opposition political parties are also present at the rally.

Anthems of Georgia and the European Union were played during the march.

"We demand that the President's institute act as it should, that the President's institute take actions in addition to talking, and this action will be the pardon of the illegal political prisoner, Nika Gvaramia. I can't say in advance what Salome Zurabishvili will do in this case, but we only expect pardon from her side, and it will be a right and fair decision," said Levan Samushia, one of the participants of the action, a member of Lelo.
