At the meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, we discussed the progress of the EU integration process of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova. It was noted that, unfortunately, at present, Georgia lags behind Ukraine and Moldova on the path of integration into the European Union, Badri Japaridze, the leader of the Lelo - Georgia party, said.

According to him, Georgian-Ukrainian relations were also discussed at the meeting.

"At the ALDE congress in Stockholm, where about 80 European parties are participating, the Ukrainian delegation was given a standing ovation. This delegation is headed by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanyshina.

During the meeting with her, we discussed the progress of the integration process of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova in the European Union. It was noted that, unfortunately, Georgia is lagging behind Ukraine and Moldova on the path of integration into the European Union, and our task is to restore the trio of our countries and to make Georgia advance in the process of integration into the European Union at the same pace as Ukraine and Moldova. We also discussed Georgian-Ukrainian relations, ways to further deepen them and Lelo­'s readiness to continue full political and humanitarian support of our Ukrainian friends," Badri Japaridze said.
