"I will introduce you to several decisions: first, the parliamentary majority will support Khatia Dekanoidze's and Roman Gotsiridze's bill regarding parliamentary political groups. Second, based on the general position of the parliamentary majority, we will not support the election of Levan Bezhashvili to the position of Vice Speaker. Thirdly, today the Georgian Dream faction made a unanimous decision at the majority meeting that Mr. Nodar Turdziladze will hold the vacant position of my deputy. I wish success to Mr. Nodar. He is an extremely good person, most importantly he is a professional, successful manager and I am sure he will achieve many successes in this position and help us a lot.
Also, at the majority session, we talked about political issues, challenges of the region. In this direction, I would like to once again, on behalf of the majority of our party, congratulate the President of our friendly country on his victory in the second round of the presidential elections. We believe that this victory is very important for ensuring peace and stability in the region," said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
