In the occupied territory near the village of Khurvaleti of Gori municipality, the representatives of the Russian occupation forces resumed the illegal so-called borderization process started in 2022, within the framework of which they illegally installed metal poles and barbed wire. The State Security Service disseminates information.

According to the agency, regarding the incident, the hotline was immediately activated and the information was reported to the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia and the co-chairs of the international discussions in Geneva.

"Each case of illegal activities of the occupation forces, including the illegal so-called borderization is the subject of acute response of the central government of Georgia and our international partners.

The issue will be raised acutely within the framework of the meeting of Ergneti incident prevention and response mechanism, as well as at international discussions in Geneva.

Full responsibility for each destructive action carried out along the occupation line rests with the occupying power," reads the information released by the SSG.
