According to Irakli Kadagishvili, the Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules of the Parliament, the reason for the premature termination of Davit Sergeenko's powers as a deputy was his unexcused absence from the plenary sessions.

As Kadagishvili told IPN, the case concerns the termination of the deputy's authority before the term due to the fact of unexcused absence from more than half of the sessions. According to Kadagishvili, the Committee of Procedural Issues will discuss the issue on July 14 and prepare a relevant report.

As it is known, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament Davit Sergeenko did not support the draft law on agents. After introducing the mentioned issue to the Parliament, Sergeenko rarely goes to the sessions. He also quit the Health Committee.
