The former Chairman of the Supreme Court, Konstantine Kublashvili, passed away

Georgian jurist, former chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Konstantine Kublashvili, passed away.

Kublashvili's relatives confirm the information.

For information, Kote Kublashvili was appointed as a member of the Council of Justice of Georgia in 2000. In 2000-2002, he was the first deputy of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, the parliamentary secretary of the ministry.

In 2002-2004, he worked as a lawyer in the law firm "Georgian Lawyers for Justice". In 2004-2005, he worked as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Public Law Legal Entity Development and Reforms Fund under the President of Georgia, and then as a director of the Fund.

In 2005-2015, he was the chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
