In Gldani, where there is a physical confrontation between the members of the United National Movement and the law enforcement officers, former chairman of the United Natio­nal Movement Nika Melia, party member Bacho Dolidze and Zviad Kuprava were taken out of the area by the law enforcement officers and supposedly arrested.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not specify whether Bacho Dolidze and Nika Melia are detained or they were simply removed from the territory.

In Gldani, members of the United National Movement gathered after Irakli Edzgveradze, a member of the Tbilisi City Council from the National Movement was assaulted. According to Irakli Edzgveradze, he was physically assaulted by more than 30 people. According to Edzgveradze, the person who ordered the attack on him was Kote Zarnadze, the majority deputy of Gldani in the City Council, a member of Georgian Dream. Members of the National Movement connect the attack with what happened today in the Tbilisi City Council, when Edzgveradze and Zarnadze confronted each other physically.
