“According to the 2023 World Economic Freedom Report by the Fraser Institute, Georgia has climbed two positions and is now ranked 15th in Europe and 25th globally”, - the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, writes on the social network.
According to him, Georgia is ahead of 19 NATO members, 16 EU states, and all candidate countries of the EU.
"Georgia has achieved yet another significant success based on objective criteria rather than subjective perceptions. According to the 2023 World Economic Freedom Report by the Fraser Institute, Georgia has climbed two positions and is now ranked 15th in Europe and 25th globally. This ranking places Georgia ahead of 19 NATO member countries, 16 EU states, and all EU candidate nations. Notably, in the category of "impartial courts," Georgia outperforms four EU member states and all candidate countries. It's worth highlighting this accomplishment, especially considering that Georgia does not even hold candidate status within the EU”, - Sh. Papuashvili wrote.
