Kakha Kaladze: There are still political groups who want confrontation, who want to overthrow the government - maybe someone from the outside supports this, but we will not allow this

It should be noted that there are still political groups, politicians who want confrontation, who want to overthrow the government. Maybe someone from the outside supports this. We will not allow this, we want to maintain peace in the country, - Secretary General of Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze, told journalists, thereby responding to the changes in the Law on Assemblies and Demonstrations.

As he noted, the changes to the Assemblies and Demonstrations were not invented by Georgian Dream and there are similar laws in many developed European countries.

"Considering that there are still some threats that some groups will create some tension and disorder, we must take preventive measures. It is important to adopt the said bill. Anyone who opposes this, and whoever opposes it, can actually be said to be pursuing the radical course that the State Security Service spoke about.

It should be noted that there are still political groups, politicians who want confrontation, who want to overthrow the government. Maybe someone from the outside supports this. We will not allow this, we want to maintain peace in the country", Kaladze said.

In addition, in response to the political activities of Girchi- More Freedom and Droa, he noted that they are representatives of radical groups. According to him, the political future of Zurab (Girchi) Japaridze and Elene Khoshtaria has no any prospect.

"Unfortunately, they are representatives of radical groups. Their actions and political future have no prospect. They are always doomed to failure. Not only these two people, all those political forces or politicians who are engaged in radicalism", Kaladze noted.
