In the last 10 months, Georgian Dream, Lelo, National Movement and Giorgi Gakharia's party received a total of more than 3,790,000 GEL in donations, of which 2,575,000 went to the ruling party
In the period from January 1 to October 31, 2023, part of the parliamentary parties received a total of 3,795,850.42 GEL in donations.
In particular, according to the information published on the website of the Anti-corruption Bureau of Georgia, Georgian Dream received the largest donation, 2,575,000 GEL. Among the donors is Tamaz Tamazashvili, who donated 10 thousand GEL to the party.
The party Lelo for Georgia received a donation of 691,275 GEL in 10 months of 2023. Among the donors are party founders Badri Japaridze and Mamuka Khazaradze, who donated 60-58 thousand GEL to the party, respectively.
As for the United National Movement donations, in the period from January 1 to October 31, 2023, the party received a donation of 504,115 GEL. Among the donors are the general secretary of the National Movement Petre Tsiskarishvili, who transferred a total of 56 thousand GEL to the party. Also, MP Giorgi Botkoveli, who donated 5 thousand GEL to the National Movement.
As for the For Georgia party, it has received 13,455.42 GEL in donations in 10 months of the current year. Among the donors are: Berdia Sichinava and Ana Buchukuri.
The parliamentary opposition party European Socialists received a donation of 12,005 GEL in 10 months.
According to the information published on the website of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, in the first 10 months of 2023, two parliamentary parties, Citizens and Strategy Builder, did not receive any donations.
