Another Georgian fighter has been killed in Ukraine. The family learned about his death yesterday evening.

According to them, 31-year-old Nika Gelenidze went to Ukraine on September 5.

According to relatives, he fought near Bakhmut, where he died as a result of bombing.

Nika Gelenidze was an IDP from Abkhazia and lived in Poti with his family. It is not yet known when he will be transferred to Georgia.

"He was a decent and honest boy. He grew up in my hands. I don't know why he left. We heard this news yesterday evening. There was an explosion and he died there. Other details are not known to us. His departure to fight in Ukraine was unexpected. This boy was a hero and heroically sacrificed himself in the Russia-Ukraine war", said a relative of Nika Gelenidze's family.
