In accordance with the initiative of the Victory Coalition National Movement leader, the National Movement responded to President Saakashvili's manifesto of unity today. It was about the expansion of the political council.

"For those who care about the defeat of the Russian oligarch, the European future of our country against Bidzina Ivanishvili, the freedom of President Saakashvili, and the fact that we can lead our country to peace, finally get the status of EU membership and not just the status of a candidate, those who share the ideals of the Rose Revolution of 2003, obviously, for those people, political council's door is open. Accordingly, I would like to introduce you to the people who, by the decision of the political council, will be added to the political council and will act with the same mandate as the members of the political council. It will be formalized at the next congress. Here are the members of the political council who were enrolled in the previous political council and did not represent this political council, and from today these specific people will be members of the political council. Also, there are new people who are entering the political family of the National Movement for the first time. Before the next congress, I am sure that the political council will expand even more," said Khabeishvili.
