Gitanas Nausėda: My Georgian friends really did a lot to implement reforms

My Georgian friends really did a lot to implement reforms. Yes, there are always certain issues that need to be discussed in the future, but right now, we have a political situation where we can make decisions, and these decisions are not only related to Ukraine and Moldova, but also to Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, - the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda told reporters in Brussels, where EU leaders are meeting for an EU summit.

"I think we have a chance, a historic chance, to make a very good decision regarding the start of accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova. It is in our hands, we can use it or lose it. The position of my country is very strong, you know that we have supported it from the very beginning, and I believe that the Ukrainian and Moldovan people deserve it, because they have done a lot to fulfill the recommendations of the European Commission. They deserve a positive result," said the President of Lithuania.
